House Energy Ratings & Thermal Performance Assessments
Nationally accredited NatHERS Compliance certification to satisfy the energy efficiency requirements of the National Construction Code (NCC). For Tasmanian home owners, the minimum NatHERS rating is currently 6 stars.
Performance Based Solutions
Performance Based Solutions (PBS) provide an alternate compliance pathway for the NCC. Especially useful for additions and alterations to existing homes. PBS offer unique flexibility in demonstrating energy efficiency compliance.
Whole of Home Assessments & Home Energy Design
Whole of Home Assessments provide a rating that includes appliances, solar and batteries. A compliance method for the NCC 2022 provisions with a thermal performance requirement of 7 stars. Not yet adopted in Tasmania with future revisions planned.
